At 1026 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hightop to Wendover. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... London, Barbourville, Harlan, Pineville, Manchester, Loyall, Evarts, Wallins Creek, Fariston, Brightshade, Varilla, Swan Lake, Coldiron, Goose Rock, Black Snake, Bush, Cranes Nest, Blanche, Napier, and Herron. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 4 and 29, and between mile markers 34 and 44. Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 25 and 38. U.S. Highway 25 East in Bell County between mile markers 12 and 18. U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 1 and 26. U.S. Highway 25 East in Laurel County between mile markers 0 and 2.
