At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Myra, or 12 miles northwest of Clintwood, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Adamson, Shelby Gap, Speight, Dorton, Beefhide, Burdine, Jonancy, and Myra. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers 5 and 7. U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County between mile markers 0 and 7.
