At 805 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Elmrock, or 8 miles north of Hindman, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hindman, Estill, Pippa Passes, Wayland, Drew, Raven, Bosco, Mousie, Leburn, Vail, Handshoe, Glo, Kite, McDowell, Omaha, Larkslane, Garner, Vest, Garret, and Soft Shell. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Kentucky Highway 80 in Floyd County between mile markers 1 and 5. Kentucky Highway 80 in Knott County between mile markers 7 and 20.
