At 733 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Powell Valley, or near Stanton, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Stanton, Clay City, Westbend, Powell Valley, Bowen, Spout Springs, Kimbrell, Cressy, Furnace, Waltersville, Fagan, Virden, Vaughns Mill, Hardwick, Rosslyn, Cat Creek, Knowlton, and Rogers Chapel. THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 12 and 29.
