At 524 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of Cynthiana, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include... Blue Licks Battlefield, Burika, Alhambra, Kentontown, Mitchells Mill, Piqua, US Route 62 at State Route 19, and Blue Licks Springs. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
