At 333 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rockford, or 12 miles north of Mount Vernon, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Boone, Snider, Morrill, Threelinks, Kerby Knob, Loam, Clover Bottom, Hisel, Climax, Eglon, Disputanta, Rockford, Shirley, Sandgap, and Goochland. THIS INCLUDES Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 71 and 72.
