At 1142 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Gausdale, or 7 miles southwest of Barbourville, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Barbourville, Julip, Gatliff, Swan Lake, Hubbs, Clate, Birdseye, Red Ash, Verne, Pleasant View, Gausdale, King, Louden, Bryants Store, Pruden, Polly Camp, Faber, Wofford, Indian Creek, and Nevisdale. THIS INCLUDES Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 1 and 4, and between mile markers 19 and 22.
