At 857 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Board Tree to Buckhorn Hollow to Hardshell. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Pikeville, Hazard, Prestonsburg, Jackson, Hindman, Simpson, Estill, Bath, Coal Run Village, Elkhorn City, Wheelwright, Martin, Pippa Passes, Forest Hills, Wayland, Allen, Elic, Meta, Buck, and Handshoe. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 53 and 56. Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 57 and 59. Kentucky Highway 80 in Floyd County between mile markers 1 and 14. Kentucky Highway 80 in Knott County between mile markers 1 and 20.
