At 201 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Baton Rouge, moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Baton Rouge, Zachary, Baker, Denham Springs, Gonzales, Donaldsonville, Plaquemine, Port Allen, Oak Hills Place, St. Gabriel, Walker, Addis, Brusly, White Castle, Sorrento, French Settlement, Port Vincent, Westminster, Geismar, and Watson. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 145 and 190. Interstate 12 between mile markers 1 and 18. Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 8.
