At 418 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Folsom, or 7 miles north of Covington, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Covington and Folsom. This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 58 and 60.
