At 415 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Deville, or 14 miles north of Effie, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Marksville, Effie, Deville, Echo, Brouillette, Esler Regional Airport, Centerpoint, Lake Ophelia National Wildlife Refuge, Ruby, and Holloway.
