At 640 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Deville, or 10 miles north of Effie, moving southwest at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alexandria, Pineville, Effie, Deville, Libuse, Echo, Poland, Esler Regional Airport, Kolin, Centerpoint, Ruby, and Holloway. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 81 and 86.
