At 601 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Bunkie to near Indian Lake to near Big Cane. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Ville Platte, Bunkie, Cheneyville, Morrow, Evergreen, Goudeau, Indian Lake, Chicot State Park, Whiteville, Big Cane, Grand Prairie, Lebeau, and St. Landry. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 28 and 59.
