At 412 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Montpelier, or 12 miles southwest of Amite, moving west at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hammond, Livingston, Independence, Albany, Montpelier, Natalbany, and Tickfaw. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 12 between mile markers 20 and 21. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 32 and 44.
