At 517 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Whitehall, or 15 miles southwest of Hammond, moving west at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hammond, Reserve, Laplace, Gramercy, Lutcher, Livingston, Sorrento, French Settlement, Albany, Port Vincent, Springfield, Garyville, Whitehall, Natalbany, Killian, and Tickfaw. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 183 and 204. Interstate 12 between mile markers 21 and 39. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 27 and 36.
