Bulletin details
At 719 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge, or near Krotz Springs, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Krotz Springs, Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge, and Atchafalaya Welcome Center. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 119 and 126.
