At 721 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lake Fausse Pointe, or 10 miles south of Catahoula, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... New Iberia, Jeanerette, Loreauville, Sorrel, Lydia, Lake Fausse Pointe, and Charenton.
