At 153 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lecompte to near Burkeville. Movement was south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alexandria, Pineville, De Ridder, Oakdale, Leesville, Marksville, Bunkie, Simmesport, Rosepine, Glenmora, Merryville, Boyce, Moreauville, Anacoco, Cheneyville, Elizabeth, Turkey Creek, Sugartown, Toledo Bend Dam, and Hineston. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 47 and 109.
