Bulletin details

At 1227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Sandy Hook to 10 miles northeast of Crossroads to near Poplarville to 15 miles west of Perkinston. Movement was southwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Bogalusa, Poplarville, Varnado, Mcneil, Crossroads, and Angie. This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 14 and 42.
