If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for southeastern Maryland.

Bulletin details

At 158 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Deal Island to near Onancock. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Parksley, Westover, and Marion Station around 205 AM EDT. West Pocomoke around 210 AM EDT. Pocomoke City around 215 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Horntown, Hallwood, Mappsville, Cokesbury, Goodwill, Greenbackville, Kingston, Saxis, Wallops Island, and Temperanceville.
