At 917 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Friendsville, or 9 miles northwest of Bittinger, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bittinger, Grantsville, Friendsville, Accident, Deep Creek Lake State Park, McHenry, Selbysport, Big Run State Park, Jennings, Keysers Ridge, and Mineral Spring. This includes Interstate 68 in Maryland between mile markers 1 and 19.
