At 535 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of Deal Island, or 11 miles northwest of Princess Anne, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Somerset and southwestern Wicomico Counties, including the following locations... Green Hill, Wetipquin, Waterview, Oriole, Trinity, Eden, Allen, Whitehaven, Widgeon, and Mount Vernon.
