At 135 PM EDT/1235 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Alberta, or 8 miles southwest of Baraga, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Covington, Alberta, U.S. 141 between Covington and Amasa, Canyon Falls, Pelkie, King Lake, Watton, Ned Lake, Prickett Dam, and Alston.
