At 1141 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Darragh to near Kalkaska to near South Boardman. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kalkaska, Grayling, Roscommon, Sharon, Frederic, Higgins Lake, North Higgins Lake, Sigma, Darragh, South Boardman, Moorestown, South Higgins Lake, Hartwick Pines State Park, Stittsville, Blue Lake Township, and Smithville.
