Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 1003 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Flat Rock to Ida to 6 miles east of Morenci. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Monroe, Flat Rock, Carleton, Temperance, and Ottawa Lake around 1010 AM EDT. Luna Pier and Lambertville around 1015 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Newport, Ogden Center, Canandaigua, Erie, Woodland Beach, Ridgeway, Stony Point, Palmyra, Bolles Harbor, and Sand Creek.
