At 1207 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles north of Lower Tahquamenon Falls State Park, or 12 miles west of Whitefish Point, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Betsy Lake and Crisp Point.
