At 117 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Midland, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, Auburn, Freeland, Kawkawlin, Essexville, Zilwaukee, Munger, Linwood, Carrollton, Arthur, Poseyville, Willard, Indiantown, Laporte, Bay City State Recreation Area, Hemlock, Shields, and Buena Vista Township. People attending Midland County Fair should seek safe shelter immediately!
