At 810 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated gusty showers along a line extending from near Troy to Birmingham to near Livonia. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts to around 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could damage unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Warren, Livonia, Troy, Southfield, Sterling Heights, Royal Oak, Clinton Township, and Detroit Zoo around 815 PM EDT. St. Clair Shores, Detroit, and Dearborn around 825 PM EDT. Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, and Greenfield Village around 830 PM EDT. Belle Isle around 835 PM EDT. Wyandotte around 840 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Franklin, Melvindale, Roseville, Shelby Township, Utica, Lathrup Village, Bingham Farms, Farmington Hills, Harper Woods, and Pleasant Ridge.
