At 258 PM EDT/158 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Kenton, or 27 miles southwest of Baraga, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kenton, Paint Lake, and Trout Creek.
