Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes.

At 846 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 9 miles east of Charlesville to over Lismore Colony, or extending from 23 miles northeast of Wheaton to 7 miles west of Clinton, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. The strong thunderstorm will be near... Graceville, Big Stone Colony, Lismore Colony, Collis, Barry and Dumont around 850 PM CDT. Clinton, Trinity Lutheran Country Church and Lagoona Beach around 855 PM CDT. Johnson around 900 PM CDT. Artichoke around 910 PM CDT.
