At 1026 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Merigold, or 7 miles south of Shelby, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Cleveland, Mound Bayou, Renova, Boyle, and Merigold around 1030 PM CDT. Ruleville around 1040 PM CDT. Drew and Doddsville around 1045 PM CDT. Blaine around 1050 PM CDT. Sunflower around 1105 PM CDT.
