At 1157 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lewisburg, or 12 miles east of Hernando, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Olive Branch, Holly Springs, Byhalia, Independence, Lewisburg, Red Banks, Coal Oil Corner, Wakefield, Cayce, Fairhaven, Lurline, Victoria, Cockrum, Watson, Handy Corner, Taska, New Garden, Miller, Mack, and Mahon. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 7 and 29.
