At 653 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Evergreen, or near Tombigbee State Park, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Amory, Aberdeen, Smithville, Tremont, New Salem, Hatley, Gattman, Eastman, Sipsey Fork, New Hamilton, Becker, Quincy, Cardsville, Turon, Tilden, Splunge, Wise Gap, Athens, East Aberdeen, and Bounds Crossroads. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 109 and 117.
