At 537 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Poplarville, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Pearl River County. This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 20 and 27.
