At 253 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles west of Saucier, or 17 miles southwest of Wiggins, moving west at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Harrison, northeastern Hancock and southeastern Pearl River Counties. This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 9 and 25.
