Bulletin details

At 222 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ecru, or near Pontotoc, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tupelo, Pontotoc, Trace State Park, Ecru, Troy, Furrs, New Harmony, Sherman, Algoma, Blue Springs, Nixon, Hortontown, Endville, Belden, Cherry Creek, Chiwapa, Ingomar, Bald Hill, Buchannan, and Chesterville. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 70 and 82.
