At 452 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Three Forks, or 29 miles south of Townsend, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bozeman, Belgrade, Three Forks, Manhattan, Logan, Four Corners, Amsterdam, Trident, Church Hill, Willow Creek, Madison Buffalo Jump State Park, and Missouri Headwaters State Park.
