Bulletin details

At 720 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 9 miles east of Harlowton to 23 miles north of Columbus, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Ryegate, Deadmans Basin Reservoir, Broadview, Lavina, Judith Gap, Franklin, Shawmut, Hailstone Wildlife Refuge, Rapelje, Halfbreed Lake Wildlife and Comanche. This does NOT include the city of Billings.
