At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Troy to near Siler City. Movement was north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Asheboro, Albemarle, Pittsboro, Troy, Siler City, Badin Lake, North Carolina Zoo, Biscoe, Goldston, and Seagrove. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 46 and 79.
