Patchy fog has developed this morning across portions of Eastern North Carolina resulting in visibilities around or just below 1 mile this morning. Quick reductions in visibility could result in hazardous driving conditions during this mornings rush hour. Patchy fog is forecast to dissipate within the next hour or two as the area begins to mix out and drier air continues to filter into the region.
