At 1251 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 9 miles southwest of Valhalla, or 10 miles east of Windsor, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Perquimans, southeastern Bertie and Chowan Counties, including the following locations... Merry Hill, Jamesville, Mavaton, Edenhouse, Saint Johns, Mount Gould, Hancock, Center Hill, Yeopim Station, and Woodard.
