At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Plymouth, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Perquimans, southeastern Bertie and southeastern Chowan Counties, including the following locations... Holiday Island, Jacocks, Drummond Point, Saint Johns, Woodville, Harvey Point, Somerset, and Forestburg.
