Bulletin details

At 124 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles southwest of Downtown Asheville, or over Bent Creek, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hendersonville, Downtown Asheville, Arden, West Asheville, Mills River, Fletcher, Fairview In Buncombe County, Mountain Home, Biltmore Forest, and Bent Creek.
