At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Point Harbor, or 11 miles south of Grandy, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Point Harbor, Jarvisburg, Harbinger, Powells Point, Spot, and Mamie.
