What the bulletin says to do
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Warning is in effect in Cumberland and Hoke counties until 1215 PM. Doppler radar has indicated rotation with this storm. If the storm intensifies and rotation strengthens, additional tornado warnings may need to be issued. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for central North Carolina.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Sanford, Raeford, Lillington, Fort Bragg, Fuquay-Varina, Dunn, Angier, Benson, and Godwin. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 81 and 41. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 311 and 332. US 1 between Mile Markers 69 and 73.
