At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sanford, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sanford, Lillington, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Broadway, Raven Rock State Park, Harris Lake Boat Launch, Moncure, Seminole, and Shearon Harris Reservoir. This includes US 1 between Mile Markers 69 and 90.
