At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 18 miles west of Lincolnton to 4 miles northeast of Shelby to 11 miles northeast of Gaffney. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Shelby, Kings Mountain, Cherryville, Bessemer City, Belwood, Grover, Lawndale, Patterson Springs, Fallston, and Waco.
