At 157 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Badin Lake to 6 miles northwest of Ansonville. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Asheboro, Albemarle, Randleman, Troy, Badin Lake, North Carolina Zoo, Biscoe, Ansonville, Seagrove, and Plyler. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 47 and 87.
