At 743 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Harmony, or 7 miles north of Statesville, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Heavy rain will reduce visibility and could make the morning commute challenging. Locations impacted include... Winston-Salem, Thomasville, Kernersville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Huntsville, Lewisville, Stokesdale, Walkertown, and Rural Hall.
