At 335 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms extending from near Bermuda Run to 6 miles northwest of Thomasville to 8 miles north of Randleman. Movement was south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Winston-Salem, High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, Randleman, Thomasville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Linwood, and Archdale. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 near Mile Marker 33, and between Mile Markers 84 and 126. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 182 and 185. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 75 and 97. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 64 and 79.
